Windows 10 sucks
 

I upgraded my laptop from windows 8 to 10.

It was super fast.

Now it runs like a really old pc.

I hate it.

ummmm strange... me it working fine

Then downgrade.

I already hate it becasue of the continuous push messages to upgrade, I don't want to, not gonna either but it keeps bugging me every fucking day about it. For months now.

You can uninstall the corresponding windows update and hide it to stop this from happening.

There you go ...

get an SSD drive

No complaints here, run xp, 7, 8 and 10. No problems with any of them.

I just started using win10, not bad, I don't know...
People who know computers say it's the best one so far.

Windows 10 has been great for me. We have six laptops and two PCs running on Windows 10, no issues at all. They all run fast too.

I still remember the problems with Windows 95, LOL. We had to reinstall the OS on a regular basis.

I've had Win 10 since last September. So far nothing that has even mildly annoyed me about it has not been able to be fixed, blocked, or otherwise disabled in some way.

So far I like it.

I've also recently upgraded to Windows 10 and was surprised there were no issues at all.

I also removed all my old backup window files.

That seemed to have helped.

Then I scanned my C drive.

My PC found errors then fixed them.

So not sure what above was the cure but it seems ok now. Not as fast as before but so far ok.

Upgrade to a nice Mac and OS/X already. You'll love it.

I dont like the Win10 color theme.

For some reason the task bar is black and is hard as fuck to see. How to make it look like Win7 or Win8 ?

exactly, don't blame the program or the OS, it's the clean up that's needed :thumbsup

Everyone raves about Mac but.... Everyone I know seems to be having problems with them. One friend of mine had to reinstall his OS last week. Um.... I haven't had to do that on a Windows machine in like forever. (Yes, I said "like".)

I upgraded and thought I was going to have to replace my laptop but then decided to get a ssd. The computer runs Windows 10 faster than it ever ran Windows 7.

Not only that but Windows 10 functionally so much superior to Win7 that it's increased my productivity.

I recommend getting a samsung EVO. Dirt cheap...comes with cloning software (that actually works) do it and you will never look back! :thumbsup

On my win 10 box the color you are referencing changes with my desktop image or color... right now the color is a gold yellow

Did that, twice. Worked for my desktop w7, my laptop w8 it just comes back each time.

Exactly. Most of my machines I don't even run antivirus. It baffles me how people can get so much malware on their computers. Some of the computers I have to repair are just pathetic. They must click on every ad and agree to install everything that pops up. These are probably the same idiots that get taken in phone scams.

Agree on the Samsung. So nice to do an upgrade with their software. Was messing around with easeus at first and seen it wouldn't let you clone a drive if the source drive is bigger than the target, even if the actual stored data is small enough to fit. The Samsung software let's you adjust the size of the partition so everything fits. Works awesome.

Been using Win10 for a few months on the new Acer all-in-one.

Having made my way through every incarnation of Windows since the beginning...I like it.
