Great designers in here, however if you want to do a banner on the cheap then I suggest downloading EASY GIF ANIMATOR and using the 'create from video' option. We use this lots for quick banners but it's easy for us as we produce our material and know the time-line inside and out :D

If your using video loops keep it under 500k and dont forget your call to action.

Whats call to action?

Call-to-Action (CTA) is the copy on the action button, like "SIGN UP!" or "Learn more" etc.
