Submitting links in social media and problems that follow
Hi,
I've created a cam site (not a WL), indexed it in SEs, bought backlinks, and my last step was to add links to social medias. Bad idea: not only I got banned after posting a handful of links over a period of time, but a smart a.. has unleashed his bots against my website. :Oh crap I'm sure it is funny but I spent much time and effort putting this up. My question is: can anyone just ruin a website by sending bots thus increasing the bounce rate or is there a way to block these. I have added entries in my htaccess as before the originator was [insert name of social media here] but now it reads "Direct" so I can't really know. My assessment is they are bots because my bounce rate went up to 87% from 60-65% and then most visits are landing that page I backlinked on that social media. |

Isn't it the only way for small sites to add a backlink to reputable high authority domains? |
Route the domain through Cloudflare.com
You sign up Point your domain to cloudflare's DNS servers They "wash" your traffic And send valid traffic through to your site. Simple, in theory at least. |
