I'm using WordPress for my networks, but I can't all those sites blogs. They don't look like blogs and they have a different functionality, so "blog" is not a right word to describe them. Here are some demos of what you can do with the CyberSEO plugin for WordPress:

NASA Pictures Of The Day | Self-populating binboard
Funny Tube | Self-populating tube
Game-World Videos | Self-Self-populating video magazine

That could be mainstream or adult - the niche just doesn't matter. Maybe their design is no perfect, because there are very old and not best templates (I have to find some time to re-design them), so they just a proof of concept and nothing else.

P.S. No I won't show off my actual commercial networks here :)

I still have my blog network although it's shrinking every month - just not worth the effort any more. It used to make me $3k - $4k a month. Now I am lucky if it makes $400.

We have two hosted blogs with rss updated every week that converts really nice.
Ex GF niche and Gay Amateur too :)

Depends on what you mean by use? My blog network is much like Rochard's is, but we use them very differently.

That's because the classic blogs as an ad tool for adult affiliates are dead for a long time. I can suggest you to convert them into tubes/galleries and your traffic/sales will be back. You don't even need to replace WordPress with another script to do that. Just setup a new nice-looking template and set your blog to pull videos and image galleries from feeds and dumps provided by almost every affiliate program. Easy money.

Still blogging in less saturated niches and it brings some nice money.
