Best IP Address Service

Any recommendations for an IP address service / site for this search :
eg wanting to find a range of static IP address for a particular city / region in the world

Aware of existing, just open to others that aren't listed on search engines etc

Thanks !

Tho, there is way to manually extract targeted ip range, but it is toomuch hassle, better to buy commercial database like that one or any of available cheaper alternatives.

IP Address Details - ipinfo.io

You can get ip info for 1,000 searches a day free

You can use it in bash or in your own API

Better than a paid mindmax in some ways :thumbsup

Also http://projects.arin.net/nicinfo/index.html is very interesting for creating IP greylisting or blacklisting

Use LINUX in terminal
root@--:~# apt-get install ipcalc
Code:

user@--:~# ipcalc 68.100.100.0/24
Address:  68.100.100.0        01000100.01100100.01100100. 00000000
Netmask:  255.255.255.0 = 24  11111111.11111111.11111111. 00000000
Wildcard:  0.0.0.255            00000000.00000000.00000000. 11111111
=>
Network:  68.100.100.0/24      01000100.01100100.01100100. 00000000
HostMin:  68.100.100.1        01000100.01100100.01100100. 00000001
HostMax:  68.100.100.254      01000100.01100100.01100100. 11111110
Broadcast: 68.100.100.255      01000100.01100100.01100100. 11111111
Hosts/Net: 254

you need to understand the /CDIR blocks /28 /24/ ... /8 etc

Better then database as it's real time but not worth it as it could cost fortune compared to database. For example, ISP/Geo database which i use cost 90$ yearly only, and if i would let say have 1 mil hit daily try to calculate howmuch it would cost by using such api. Also, european ip database have free api but other's do not.

Toomuch hassle to understand Cidr blocks, as you can simply use ipcalc instead.
Plus only cidr range which actually matter is /24

What are you trying to do?

What database are you referring to?

**The link?

Well, get hostbyname or "hostname" and geting the ASBLOCK "org" really matter if you are fingerprinting or doing transactions and processing online.
