Actually, she'd been dealing with cancer. I don't know if that was the ultimate cause, but she was battling it. Based on what I know, I'd be much more inclined to say it was that as opposed to drugs.

reading her twitter looks like she knows she was going to go, saying her goodbyes.

Death seems so final.

Oh wow I am so sorry for her! Drugs and OD'ing is (sadly) the norm for most porn girls so I just assumed. Really sad to hear.

just wanted to address this. it's totally clear you didn't know she had died when you posted that and yeah, maybe not something most peeps would do** but wanted to say...

she did porn. and she was great at it. wicked actually, one of the three performers my husband and I have in common (we have VERY different tastes) so that's how I know her name. very well. her work brought us uh, hours of joy over the course of her adult career.

While I like and respect most of your post I must disagree with this part. I too assumed it was an OD and why shouldn't I? I am not going to do "research" based on a GFY thread c'mon now. (And when I found out it was cancer I apologized.)

BUT - and this is a big ol' porn-sized, juicy, chunky, booty BUT - the overwhelming majority of girls who do porn and die either it's an an overdose or suicide. Both sad and horrible fates BUT (again) for one to assume this was the cause is merely playing the percentages.

i figured i'd google it, according to a post from amber from 2009, she survived cancer pre-2009-ish. perhaps it came back but i couldn't find anything on that.

Came close to working with her- I've worked with several of her friends. I hope it isn't OD. If it is cancer, people don't realize that cancer is the number one killer of people under 65. It kills kids, teens, young adults, mothers, fathers. It weakens people and strips them of their dignity before they die. It is a scourge and humanity should be working to cure it.

Technically, I guess you're correct. Being found dead with a bottle of pills in you hand implies OD'ing/suicide. However, she was not a "norm" recreational drug user.
