How much money is in sig whoring?
 

I heard about a guy from another guy I know that said he made a bomb and actually paid off his mortgage just sig whoring.
I have tried to do the math for this but just can't.

Say he did 100 whore posts a day * 365 days * 5 years that would be over 182000 whore posts.
Say he got paid $0.2 per post would that be enough to pay for a cheap ass house?

There have been GFY threads about 10K houses or so, so 182K/5 is more than that :)

10 years ago I would pay people 150 a month or something neat that. Now I can't see it even being worth your time unless you are happy with beer money.
BrassMonkey looks at anything as better than nothing so the 35 bucks a month he gets he is happy with.

I never sold my sig, don't know why anyone would want it but I would like to see a show of hands of those who have a paid sig.

I remember someone discussing the selling of their sig, in the heyday was the peak around $5-10k a year?

Justifies spending inordinate amounts of time on here and maybe even having a post bot with scheduled posts.

In 2011 I worked for a company who paid $500 a month and they were required to post (reply) to at least 5 posts per day on GFY, 5 days a week.

Today I doubt they would pay as much as $150 a month for the same thing if that company was still around. :P

I always made more from reffing programs that I liked in my sig then I got from selling it straight off. Now day's I don't have to worry about that stuff since there is only one company that I really like ;)

Sig Whoring is not where the money is at. I have a friend that makes gmail and yahoo email accounts so she can post reviews for select companies. It is all she does all day and night. Probably the most boring thing I can think of doing.
She has not told me exactly what she makes but as a single mother her kid goes to private school and her house is awesome. She has a brand new car and truck. I bet she makes around 80K or more easy.
That is a sig whore worth doing if I ever saw one. I think it would be super boring but it is worth it for her
