Affiliate Program Owners: how do you manage members emails?

We are getting a lot of bounced emails when members signup for our paysites. Most users use free email services like yahoo / hotmail and these services love to send `member join emails` right into spam folder. So new members dont even see their join emails with all the info.

Now, we are not banned anywhere like spamhaus, etc. so i have no idea why emails get filtered. Could it be based on adult content? (website name, adult keywords)

Any suggestions how to deal with this? Maybe there is some trick to setting up mail server for paysites?

Any info is appreciated.

Thank you, Marina.

Just so people don't get the wrong idea: I dont want to spam my members. I just want surfers who sign up, to successfully receive welcome email with their membership details, instead of mail going into spam folders.

Maybe the best thing to do is have the emails use your Corporate mainstream-sounding name. If the website has a lot of porn-y words in it - cocksuckingwhoreslutmilfs.com for example - I don't know if there's a way around that. LOL

I use CCBill and Epoch and all their emails get through even tho I have some porn names (like The Porn Nerd).

If anyone knows inboxing, it's them or can refer you to whatever you might need.

Setup your program as private, with webmasters needing a password to signup.

what is the spam score of those emails?

there's always a reason why mails land in the spam folder... I was going over all the spam blockers and ip blockers i could find then set up the proper ptr records for the host and ips the mails are going from and finally realized one of the old email accounts got compromised and someone was sending out thousands of spam mails from it every day..changed all FTP, Cpanel and Plesk passwords, checked all the logs for weird ftp connections, submitted the ips for removal from the spam lists and suddenly all mails land in the inboxes.. it's not a quick work, but it helped in our case

It is not too complicated to reach inbox if it is indeed only welcome email you are sending. Could give you a hand with this, add me for a quick chat.
