SEO vs Social Media Promotion
Would you agree that you should keep your SEO optimized sites away from Social Media posts and forum signatures hence having a bunch of sites dedicated for Twitter and gfy sig, and another bunch of sites just for Google/Bing.
The question boils down to: do you hide your SEO strategy, does it matter? |
Short answer:no. Long answer:well, depends...
|
SEO is versatile. off-site SEO includes social activity, especially google plus (which is a risky domain for adult businesses) and twitter.
Social itself is great for strengthening your brand and trust, as well as giving an extended arm for correspondence. |
Social media sites have millions of users so social media optimization (SMO) is a great technique by which you can get more traffic.

Social media is part of good SEO.

thanks for insight guys
I was thinking that someone could compromise uniqueness of title/descriptions/content and replicate url patterns or something, in a nutshell: steal your SEO strategy. That's why I thought it could be wise to keep 1 site solely for SEs (optimized content) and 1 site for social media but then the former is not benefiting from the brand strengthening the latter could bring. |
