around 90 joins per day....

This is not a live breach. The data is from a breach that happened in 2008. We were asked for a ransom, didn’t pay it, made security updates and have not had any issues since. There was no credit card info taken and all accounts are no longer valid for our members area.

I'd think they do more than 90 joins / day.

that's 12k a week, plus their 3 day trials & month members that leave after a month. Not everyone stays for life :2 cents:

90 trials a day is not worth $12k a week. they do $1 trials, its more like $2700. and cheap trials tend to not rebill that well. so... yea.

why should they delete it? its relevant. just because it makes your company look bad and you dont like that, doesnt mean it qualifies for deletion.

The breach was in 2008. 237k accounts at that time.

the hacker was able to proof to the reporter that he still had access to live data and provided screenshots with data as recent as march 31 2016, in addition temporarily changed (defaced) their site and showed it to the reporter to proof he still had full access.

Well now, that's a horse of a different color.
