Times are changing. New weed shop opened in my town
 

I live in semi-small town outside of Portland. A few days ago we had our first legal weed store open up. At first the city said they weren't going to allow these stores, then they realized how much money they were missing out on and changed their mind.

I went in today and the place is pretty impressive. It was very organized and you almost feel like you are visiting a high end boutique when you go inside.

maybe someday Indiana will get their heads out of their asses and legalize it but I doubt it.. But congrats to your area! :thumbsup

Nevada will probably legalize it this year. I dont smoke the stuff but I dont think it should be against the law either.

While choosing to smoke a joint when you are nearly 50 (Not supplying it) in the privacy of your own home doesn't exactly incur life imprisonment as a punishment, at the same time its still illegal.

Nope. In my state it is now legal for anyone of legal age to buy it. If you have a medical card you can still use that and get it a little cheaper because there aren't as many taxes associated with it, but now anyone can walk in, show ID an buy it.

According to what I recently read in 2015 legal pot sales were $5.4 billion dollars and they estimate it will be $6.7 billion for 2016. That is with just 3 states having it fully legalized and 20 other states with medicinal pot legal.

Between the stores, growers and manufactures of edibles and concentrates it is big business. Now if they could get have access to the banking system so it wasn't an all cash business they would likely be happier.

Although it is not legalized here,we have a bunch of them scattered all through Vancouver.I still dont understand how they can operate their business as it is still illegal

Yeah it is a Shango store. It looks like they have a few different stores around the metro area.

we grow our own as it's legal here in Spain as long as it's under a certain amount of plants.
