Selecting Photos for Copy Paste App

Is there an app that will remember my selected photos if I cock up.

Like, I select a lot of photos using CTRL and mouse select and sometimes I press the wrong button. It would be great if there was an app than could instantly recover my selection.
Does such a thing exist?
