would you work 5 months/year just to pay healthcare?
Well it appears that most people would:
Forbes: Annual healthcare costs for family of 4 in the USA if the median salary in the US is at $52K and the cost for a family of 4 is $22K thats like 5 months/year working just for healthcare costs... breakdown of the bill: "Of the $22,030 healthcare cost for a family of four, the employer pays about $12,886 in employer subsidy while the employee pays the remaining $9,144, which is a combination of $5,544 in payroll deductions and $3,600 in employee out-of-pocket costs." now one may argue that the employer pays for a good part, but I counter argue that the employee would get a bigger salary if the employer did not have to pay such a hefty chunk...also the cost is passed on to somebody else this in turn passes on costs to everybody else etc... |
No I would not. It is simply making those in the medical field rich - FUCK THEM
|
I cant a4rd free healthcare :(
|
If I got paid $300 a month like those living in Serbia - fuck no.
Obama care or free Public Hospitals is there for you. http://c8.alamy.com/comp/B46MAM/a-ro...ome-B46MAM.jpg |

Your median income numbers are way off it was roughly $65k a year and that was in 2008.
https://www.census.gov/hhes/www/income/data/statistics/4person.html The republican Forbes hit piece you referenced was published 3 years ago and quoted the poverty level median income, not the actual average national median income for a family of 4 for 2013. |
Why do slobs from east Europe have such huge US fetishes?
Just can't stop trying to make your bleak lives seem better huh? |

Would you live in a corrupt 3rd world hell hole full of serbian rapists and crumbling infrastructure for $10 dollar a month subpar healthcare?
No thank you, Mr. Ethnic-cleanser |
Just did the math. I work 12 days a year to pay for my health care.
|
it is the cost of healthcare not the cost of insurance...$22K/year for a family of four...median income USA is $53K I was a bit off:
Typical American family earned $53,657 last year - Sep. 16, 2015 the cost is the cost...$22K and forbes is a legit source...5 months per year for something others get at a much lower cost at equal quality... its in your face stuff from legit sources...simple math...somebody pays the $22K and one way or another its the taxpayer...every year the US healthcare payer buys his medical establishment a new car... man imagine the compound interest on $22K/year on a 40 year period that is almost $US 24.400.000 raaape raaaaaape! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
lol, no it's not. Fucking retard.

Shell shocked dim-wit. Americans do not pay 42% of their gross income on health insurance.
Go suck a dick, coward. |

you know something forbes does not? http://b-i.forbesimg.com/danmunro/fi...8/MMI20132.png now you can either explain how forbes is wrong or you can not :2 cents: |

Workers now pay an average of $1,318 out of pocket before health insurance coverage begins to cover part of their bills, up from $584 a decade ago, according to a new report out from the Kaiser Family Foundation. That’s after paying an average of $89 each month for health insurance premiums.

2015 Milliman Medical Index - Milliman Insight
PPO is the most expensive form of insurance you can buy. HMO is maybe 60% of the cost with a high deductible. Still the cost is a lot but most of it is paid by employers and passed along in the prices of the goods you buy. The alternative would be additional taxation and governmental price control or manipulation. Healthcare everywhere is just a cluster fuck robbing peter to pay paul -- no one works for free (intentionally, notwithstanding volunteer workers). |

I'm not sure about you, but when I get healthcare my primary concern is quality.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._of_healthcare Who gives a fuck how cheap your healthcare is if you're dead. Strange, I can't seem to find Serbia or Russia anywhere... |
Quote:
these are the costs for JUST insurance they are not total costs but you are free to post a link of your own if you can find better data: HMO/year/2008 was 13.122$ PPO/year/2008 was 13.937$ and I was wrong about the 22K figure its actually closer to 25K$/year thats 6 months per year working to pay off the medical mafia in the USA http://www.milliman.com/uploadedImag...1_web_1000.jpg Quote:

Czech Republic actually, but don't let facts get in the way. While we're on the list of best countries for healthcare, I'm not gonna argue that the quality of care in the US is better than here and most of the world for that matter. Either way, Serbia and Russia are not anywhere to be found on that link I posted. That's because all you can do when you get sick in those countries is pray for a quick death :D |

it's (basically) the same like in Czech R.
in 90's there were huge differences, not anymore. for all of you that post in this topic - you like a kids arguing who has bigger cock. and you cruci... ? what the fuck are you doing here ? are you sane ? maybe you should visit doctor and speak with him about your obsessions ? you are not in mental health, IMO. whining and whining, all the time whining ? what the fuck do you care about people from US ? you want them to prove that they are idiots or something ? usually if someone is really a idiot, he will never admit that (not mean to insult any American here)..so, are you a idiot crucifiss ? The price for the same person- me, was a high of $1,200 / month and a low of $320 / month. This is not from some internet chart ... Specific to my locale. The difference was PPO v. HMO and the deductibles -- the mandated coverage was the same. In the USA the healthcare is a capitalist industry performed for a profit. One of the best investments in REIT (real estate investment trust) shares is medical property leases and leasebacks. Hospital and health insurance stocks are considered ''sure things'' to appreciate and pay dividends. Bottom line, maybe 30% of healthcare costs are inflated by the for profit healthcare delivery system we have in the USA. That is paid out to Wall Street :2 cents: |
Forbes would make more sense if they compared median health care costs for a family of 4 to the total median income for a family of 4. Numbers are slanted.
