Pagerank gone for good!?
 

Hey guys,

Is it just me or pagerank is now dead for good?
I notice that starting today, all websites appears with PR0.
Even the most popular ones, for example facebook.com and wikipedia.org
Is there any official confirmation regarding this?

From word on the street it's bye bye. And I don't think it really matters anymore. There is a chrome plugin that will show you page rank while you're on it and I see quite a few established sites going at 1-4 and so on. This day and age I'm not sure what matters anymore.

If you're targeting other SEs than Google, a lot of them have the same basic idea with linking and PR, but slightly different (Baidu, Yandex, etc.)

But yeah, Page Rank hasn't been updated in a long time and never will be..

For the billionth time,.... toolbar PR and Pagerank are not the same thing. Google announced they'd be stopping toolbar pr updates years ago.

We will probably not going to be updating it [PageRank] going forward, at least in the Toolbar PageRank.

They said it in 2014...

Guys... I know that PR were not updated since 2013.
But today all websites appeared with PR0, that is totally new...

They probably turn off / deleted that public information since it's no longer used.

While Google will remove PageRank scores from public view in the coming weeks, the way those scores dramatically reshaped the web will remain.

pr is gone no more. no more selling links

PA & DA of the mozbar is what i use since a while now. Everyone else in the linkbuilding world does as well.

But today all websites appeared with PR0, that is totally new... That's the reason I created this thread.

Yes every website's PR has been publicly disabled and set to 0, only Google will know your true PR from now on.

Just use the mozbar to give you a quick idea. Go deeper with majestic or AH Refs
