Cruz Organisational Mastery Narrows Delegate Gap
Cruz Narrows Trump Lead With Clean Sweep
Saturday's result leaves Mr Trump with 755 delegates to Mr Cruz's 559. Ohio Governor John Kasich has 144. Mr Cruz is continuing to rack up small wins that expose his Billionaire rival's inability to master local campaigning. http://cdn.freakoutnation.com/upload.../ted_cruz7.jpg |
Seems to me Cruz is just picking up Trump's crumbs.
How important is NY to the GOP front runners? I thought I over heard the news today say that NY could be the end - Trump could pick up enough votes to make it nearly impossible for Cruz to catch up. I would imagine Trump would do good in NY. |

After NY there are only 743 delegates left. If Trump wins them all in NY that would mean Cruz would would have to win 89% of the remaining delegates in order to secure the nomination. Cruz's only real hope at this time is that both he and Kasich can get at least 20% of the vote in NY so they get some of those delegates which will help them potentially keep Trump from getting to 1237. I think Cruz's hope is that he gets close enough to the 1237 that either Rubio's or Kasich's delegates could put him over the top. He offers them the VP spot (or whatever spot they want in his administration) and they pledge their delegates to him, putting him over the top. |
Cruz has stated the process will be decided in california and is going all in on California. His plan is to win here.

Donald Trump made the mistake of thinking the people's votes actually count. No amount of learning on the fly is going to save him from losing delegates up until June.

Spits in face, then "punch a woman! punch a woman!'. This is so wrong on every level imaginable. Bronco, was that you? Please tone it down a bit dude. And your avatar is misleading, you clearly don't have those curve implants yet. |

I think the popular vote should be the deciding factor. The electoral college is the system created by the establishment to make sure they can always get what the ruling minority wants. But in this one case I'm ok with it. Trump is a trainwreck...and so is everyone else. |

The exact same thing can be said about Trump "people". |

BTW Trump is way less harmful to every aspect of the US and the world than Cruz and Hillary. Those 2 will be complete disasters. I am amazed so many people support these weirdos. |
Has nothing to do with Cruz and his alleged mastery of the ground game. These are GOP delegates, not voters of the public, and the GOP is buying them all off to stop Trump and nothing more. That's what is rigged, not Cruz's ability to court people of power. Anyone who thinks so is a monkey of the media.
