7/11 - Never Forget
|
He probably just needed a Slurpee :2 cents:
Trump Nation :thumbsup |
|
?Over the last 15 months, we?ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I?ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.? ? Barack Obama
?In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died ? an entire town destroyed.? ? Barack Obama, on a Kansas tornado that killed 12 people Reads Word "Corpsman" as "Corpse Man" Twice in the same speech and this from someone who is Harvard educated. Obama has had more flubs the George Bush. |
This flub doesn't matter. What matters is the things that he means to say.

Maybe, Trump will buy all the 7/11 franchises up when he deports their immigrant employees; replaces the workers with American workers and makes America great again with lots of shitty jobs for rednecks.
Or, Trump got confused and thought he was going to make a come-out roll of 7 or 11 (make a "natural"[craps]). Or, he just mixed up the most infamous terrorist act in the USA with a fucking convenience store -- brain dead :2 cents: |
i'm not concerned over a slip - everybody is human and makes mistakes.
it's something like "Mission accomplished" that concerns me |

Problem is we're not sure what Obama meant to say. |

How can anyone confuse 9/11 with 7/11 while speaking in NEW YORK of all places?

It was the huge banner that said "Mission Accomplished" Obama also never said it but when he declared ISIS contained just before the Paris attacks that became known as his "Mission Accomplished" moment. |

7/11 was behind 9/11

I don't think it should be a big deal unless he flubbed it twice.
|
711 is the station that he has ties to in Manhattan. I think this thing got blown up for his less than precise use of grammar

ahh just seen you're edit. I was going to say, not a bad mistake, both terrible tragedies, but yes, that was 7.7 not 7/11, what a nightmare :helpme |

Yeah, the President of the United States standing under this banner, no matter how they tried to spin it after the fact, could have been avoided if they wanted to. That WAS the message they wanted to get out, whether he said the words or not. The speech also said that: "Major combat operations in Iraq have ended. In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed.." No ambiguity there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzrJwzYBUkU What did Bush himself say years later? "Clearly, putting a 'mission accomplished' on an aircraft carrier was a mistake," Bush said, when asked about his errors while in the White House. "It sent the wrong message. We were trying to say something differently but, nevertheless, it conveyed a different message." He admits he fucked up. It's ok for you to admit it too. |

LOL @ Bush and the 'Mission Accomplished" sign.
WTF do you think he ''meant?'' |
Quote:
ok, you got me, he did not say the words, he was just standing below that sign - which surely meant totally different. You happy now? Or can we get back to the fact that there are worse things than Trump or Obama slipping up? |
