How to eliminate the wage gap

^^^^^^^ pretty funny, but true.

A few years ago A friend of mine died and I helped his wife run a medium sized HVAC company for a few months until the confusion was over. Every very well paid service tech was a male. Zero female employees except low paid office clerks.

The majority of customers at home to let the tech's in were female. I immediately thought how much better the experience would be for women home owners if a female was in their home doing repairs.

Painters, plumbers, HVAC, etc are all wide open for women employees and owners.

I think women (and men for that matter) feel more comfortable having a man fix their whatever.

A while ago I worked for a few different tech companies which were about 90% men. Most of the women were either secretaries or in some kind administrative role. One place I worked had two female software engineers. After I left that company I ended up going out with one of them a few times and found out she likely made more than most of the guys. So many tech companies were desperate for women they were willing to pay top dollar for them, but there just aren't many in the field. If more girls went into that field they could make some nice coin.
