Of course Trump did good in NY. It's his home state. Same with Clinton, being as she was a Senator there.

It would be so wild if Trump picked Bernie Sanders as his running mate. lol

That would cause a shitstorm of the highest magnitude...never happen, but it would be awesome.

After tonight it makes it pretty much a sure thing. Cruz would need to win about 90% of the remaining delegates and that isn't going to happen. Cruz's only hope now is that he can win enough to deny Trump the outright victory then hope they pick him in a contested convention.

If there were some way for this to happen it would amazing. Imagine the shit show. No republican gets enough delegates so the GOP pics Cruz or someone else as the nominee. Trump gets pissed and runs an an independent with Bernie as his VP.

So you say it is only after tonight that we see Cruz not taking plurality of delegates? LOL, it was clear weeks or even months ago :)

The only question was majority yes or no for Trump.

In this thread back back in January I predicted it would be Trump for the republicans and Hillary for the democrats and then Trump would lose to Hillary in the general election. I still think this is how it will play out.

I say what I said tonight because Cruz has been coming on strong in some recent states, but was still way behind. He wasn't likely to win, but still had an outside shot. After the ass whipping he got today it makes it pretty much impossible for him to win enough delegates to win the nomination.

I had suggested in another thread that what could happen is Kasich and Cruz stay in it to the end with Kasich slowly gathering a few delegates here and there then when it comes to the convention Kasich gives his delegates to Cruz in exchange for a VP slot and that number puts Cruz over the top. Of course for this to happen Trump will have had to come up short of the 1,237 needed to win the nomination.

Well, most of the people were 100% sure that Cruz won't get majority of delegates before the conventions even weeks ago.
And 99.9% sure that he won't get plurality of delegates as well. Weeks ago that is.
So in that context it was strange to read your conclusion that it is only today when it is clear :)
I guess if we speak about official mathematical chances :)

He could "give" them only on the second ballot though. Correct me if I am wrong. And "give" is slippery word, no Kasich delegate would be bound to vote for Cruz or anyone else. Of course naturally "anti Trump" sentiment would probably prevail.

I believe you are correct. If it is a contested convention my understanding is that if there is a second ballot then deals start to get made. Give really isn't the right word. It would be more like Kasich would have to convince his delegates to vote for Cruz.

Trump's only chance of being President is if enough Democrat voters will switch over to vote for him.

Committing the US to 4 years of nothing much happening. He will get blocked so many times it will make Obama's Presidency lool like a joy ride.

what is nonsense about his stance on illegal immigration? What do the people who criticize him for his comments on the topic don't understand about the word illegal? Why does he get criticized for something that is the law for hundreds of years?

yes its sad there is an entire left wing ideology...one MUST follow the law not to pollute too much (VW) & not to offend speech code in college. & dont eat net caught tuna!

but laws about crossing borders? robbery? murder? not beating the teacher in class? those laws dont matter. so its now normal in a democrat white house that a felony-kidnappers ankle bracelet goes off during a meeting to get black youth to follow the law. thats where the left wing is with the USA.

the important thing is skin color, not that they are criminals breaking laws.

Because sound reasoning and rational thought have met their match in the from of political correctness.

To tell you the truth, I gave up guessing what the libtards in this state are thinking after they elected Arnold Schwarzenegger then Moonbeam.

We should make a law that says you cannot vote here unless you were born here. All the transplants have fucked this state up.

The nonsense of him having Mexico build a wall or that he will go around finding them all. It's all bs to get people like you to like him.

Bernie's tax returns were comical - the great socialist paid a whopping 18% in federal income tax and his charitable contributions were quite small.

What do you mean? It seems that you are laughing at his low income while low income actually fits "great socialist".

So do you want someone that owes favors to lobbyists or someone who works for the people?

Not the point and you know it: Anti trump people call him a racist because his remarks about illegals. Yet it's the law, they're illegal. So the law that someone is illegal in a country is racist according to their brainwashed logic.

A wall, finding them, etc. is irrelevant in that discussion.

Sad but true: The only way to beat the corrupt establishment is if you are filthy rich yourself.
That's why Trump is one of a kind and the only logical choice, that's a fact.

Bernie is a politician. If he would be president he will play ball with all of the special interests and big money because he doesn't have a choice. Add in the fact that he, as well as all other politicians, is not experienced in dealing with huge corporations on a business level, and you just know the second he sets foot in the white house he's their bitch, their puppet. Like Clinton, Bush, Obama.

Do you see Trump as the bitch of the ruling establishment? He has a clear own will, he has money: THE ingredients for not bowing down to those corrupt fucks. Why do you think literally every single mainstream media outlet is spouting blatant hate against Trump? Do you really think that's a coincidence? These fuckers try anything not to let him win.
