Did you really think the GOP was going to let American people pick its nominee??

...better think again.

"Donald Trump may be the only Republican presidential candidate who can realistically hit the magic 1,237 number for the majority of delegates, but according to a senior Republican National Committee official that does not mean he will become the GOP presidential nominee.

Curly Haugland, a longstanding RNC official and an unbound delegate from North Dakota who will be on the convention rules committee in July, tells CNBC that attaining the 1,237 delegate count during the primaries does not secure the nomination, "Even if Trump reaches the magic number' of 1,237 the media and RNC are touting, that does not mean Trump is automatically the nominee" Haugland said.

"The votes earned during the primary process are only estimates and are not legal convention votes. "The only official votes to nominate a candidate are those that are cast from the convention floor."

Donald, hitting 1,237 won't matter: RNC delegate - Yahoo Finance

That is all true however let them try that shit and the party will be done.

It has been that way forever. This guy is just stirring shit to get his name out there and hope to drum up more anti-Trump support.

If Trump gets 1,237 delegates and they take the nomination away there is no telling what kind of damage it could do. If enough republicans are pissed off they may very well lose the White House, Senate and House.

Why are you so scared of Donald trump?

He is saying what people want to listen, that's why he has become so popular.

Another barely English speaking Trumpanzee.

I'm still amazed the GOP has managed to find someone they hate more than Hillary..

I'm still amazed that the coined term "trumped" and "donald trump" is playing out perfectly in this election. There was actually a time where I thought Donald Trump coined the phrase "trumped" until I looked into it and realized it is as old as the 16th century.

Either way... Donald Trump is trumping this whole election and will be our sitting president. And i'm fine with it

Both parties have been telling you who to vote for, for decades. Why should they change when you obediently fall into line?

In a few years, new parties have sprung up in Europe who are opposed to the Status Quo. Because Europeans vote for them.

Hillary is a fake enemy, just for the public. Dems and Republicans have the same bosses, so anyone who plays ball with either party is not a real threat.

Trump is a real enemy because the bosses of the parties cannot control him.

It's worrying to see how little some know about politics.

Hate Trump all you want.

But to stop him means supporting hilary, the felon. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

That just says they MIGHT or COULD take it away. While your title/post suggest that it WILL happen (in case he hist the target, which he won't according to estimates).

I tend to agree. I definitely see Mr. Trump running as independent if they steal his nomination.

Agree. And then maybe the GOP will be forced to think who they represent.
