Tumblr just terminated two of my accounts without any notice or warning. Damn!!!:mad::mad:

Yeah man they are cleaning house!

Been happening for years. Most people now use bots and create hundreds of accounts and play the numbers game.

What's a good bot to use for tumblr?

Handmade Tumblrs are a losing game.

I just rebuilt an account. 12K followers in only 500 posts.

So far they're leaving me alone.

Any bot you can suggest?

why are you surprised its been like that since day one. Tumblr is and always will be a gamble to use if you are willing to play the odds with them you can make some money off that site but don't get butt hurt when they delete your shit. Charge it to the game and move foward!

what can't you do there?

I link out to money sites from every pic or video I post there
I use popunder code on every site I setup
I watermark every photo
I set up multiple accounts and then create dozens of tumblrs on each account

doing all that I have tumblrs that are running for years

but I did lose a couple accounts last month that I had had for a couple years each the only things I changed were I added piwik code to each site on them and I had changed themes on them. don't know if its related or just bizarre coincidence that I lost both accounts a week later

I'd say you've been lucky. Setting up multiple blogs on one account is almost asking for it if you link out or use pop unders. I wish you well but most people I've spoken with (myself included) get bans all the time. Some do even without linking out anywhere.

How many ticket did you sent?prob they had a big reason to close your accounts

I received 0 tickets or emails about my two tumblr accounts.

I sent in a support ticket asking why my site was shut down. Waiting to hear back from tumblr.

This is my 3rd account with over 10K followers to get banned. Sucks since I followed their TOS. Oh, well.

Send a support ticket for that one too. You never know.

Anything you don't control likely will disappear or be terminated at one time for any reason.

Build for yourself and spend a smaller % of your time on these other platforms to get more traffic.

Same here after YEARS. I was playing around with an RSS with a third party service and I wonder if that's what did it, since they don't enable feeds on Tumblr.

They terminated one of mine for no reason. Not a single link on the page and almost a year old.

Was it operated manually or with a bot?

Also, was the email you used to sign up to the account one you check once in awhile? They may have sent you DMCA notices; after the 3rd one they terminate.

I have a several big accounts there and never had any problems. I do not post any affiliate links, post some pictures and gifs and sometimes links to my money sites.
