CCBill's Hold Music Makes Me Want To Kill Myself
 

Holy fuck CCBill! Yes, you are a fine company (see sig) but what is with the 1970's TV soap opera As The World Turns hold music? I called Support tonight and had to listen to that dreck (at a LOUD volume too, thanks extra for that) and all I could think about were '70's housewives watching Days Of Our Lives and popping bennies while the kiddies were at school and the hubby was banging the secretary as she begrudgingly, sadly made the dinner tuna casserole for her spoiled, unappreciative family of nine.

(yes, I was on hold for a long time. LOL)

Seriously, after like 3 minutes of this endless loop sonnet of sadness I got so depressed I wanted to kill myself. Thankfully Support came back online in the nick of time.

Fucking Bieber would be better than this noise. Where's my martini?

One would think that with all the technological advances one should already be able to choose one's hold music ...

On-hold music is completely useless. If you're on a 3-way call, you can't have a conversation. If the music is that muzak crap it becomes mind-numbing especially when its on a loop. Even worse is when the music is interrupted by a robot telling you you're still on hold. Very dumb.

The best possible way to be placed on hold is with dead silence, with a beep every 20 seconds or so reminding you that you're on hold. This way you can listen to your own music if you want, or continue that 3-way conversation.

My cellphone carrier Telus used to let people who were on hold choose their own on-hold music. You could listen to real pop, or real rock, or real alternative, etc, but I suspect licensing became too expensive for them so they ditched it.

Absolutely! But with CCBill's I swear it sounds like a seventies soap opera. I find myself worrying if Greg will recover from the accident after he discovered Diana is cheating him with his own doctor! LOL

Ccbills hold music is the least of concerns. You should be concerned with all those rebill accounts being placed in cancelled status after first 05 decline. It's only cutting into your profit margin.... big time.

Don't even get me started on the additional scrubs and the actual join form.
