Just another typical money grabbing bitch !!
A mother is suing her local leisure centre for £20,000 after she was prevented from breastfeeding in its swimming pool.
Abbie Stocker, 27, was feeding eight-month-old Eric while the wave machine was on and a lifeguard became concerned mother and son might be in difficulty. Mrs Stocker, who describes herself as a 'vegan lactivist' and is a breastfeeding support volunteer, was instead asked to use a chair by the swimming pool instead of feeding in the water. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/...2170950729.jpg Weeks after the incident Mrs Stocker, who still breastfeeds her three-year-old daughter Abbie, is now suing the leisure centre for £20,000. She said: 'The way they handled it was not positive. They could have learned from it but they chose not to. Breastfeeding women are no different to a disabled person or a person of a different nationality in the way you can't discriminate against them'. The leisure centre has not commented on the case but it is understood the staff were worried for the child's safety - and did not stop her from feeding. A source said: 'A lifeguard saw a mum feeding her baby inthe pool and thought she might be more comfortable sitting on a chair. 'The wave machine was on at the time and the waves can getpretty strong when they reach the shore end of the pool. 'The staff member thought the baby may become upset if hit with a wave, and was only trying to help.' The source added: 'Abbie then began saying it was againstthe law to stop a mum breastfeeding her child in public. 'That was never the case and the centre welcomes and supports breastfeeding mums.' The incident occurred in May last year, when Eric was eight-months-old. Signs supporting breastfeeding are displayed throughout the centre. It seems public breastfeeding is the new "get rich quick" scheme for lousy moms... :disgust |

Breastfeeding in a wave pool. He just didn't want tittie milk in da pool as it fucks up the filters and could be used for something important like corn flakes. :2 cents:

I have nothing against women breast feeding in public, all power to them but breast feeding your kid in the middle of a wave pool? That is terrible parenting and not safe. Here's hoping common sense prevails here.

She should have lunch with this asshole.
Chicago woman sues Starbucks for $5 million over amount of ice in cold drinks - Chicago Tribune |
But you have to admit, she does have really kind eyes...

Give her a choice.
1.) Sue us and CPS will take your kids for child endangerment. 2.) Shut up and walk away. |
If shes in need of money she didnt have another choice

gotta love it when women engage in the zoo-like behavior that is secreting bodily fluid into another human being in public then scream oppression when people are put off by it

Would you let your wife breastfeed in public? Ok then. fine....

There is a proper place and time or breastfeeding. In fact, nearly any time or place is perfectly fine. Ballgame, waiting for bus, in your front yard - fine. There are few exceptions, and one of them is a public pool.
And for the dumb ass taking Starbucks to court... Well.... Starbucks says a drink is of a certain size, and it is. It's mostly water. And in some cases, that water is ice. Get over it. |
