I skipped cod this year because the futuristic shit has bored the life out of me...

Yup, it's a smart move on their part. They know MW/MW2 was their most successful game, and know plenty will pay a full game's price just to play it again.

I don't understand why they won't go back to a vietnam/ww2 theme. It's been over 10 years since they visited that era. Gfx/tech has changed big time, so it's worth revisiting imo.

Their sales figures show others share your opinion.

I hate all the future stuff, I played MW and MW2 non stop when they were released. I could probably sit and play it for 2-3 hours a night. You'd be lucky if I have played online for 3 hours max on each of the last 3 releases. I don't enjoy them anymore with all the BS tech and futureistic style guns and special equipment.

Totally agreed! CoD4 / MW1 was the best in the series! Balancing was good, not too much shit going on with the gazillion kill-streaks. Will 100% play again for full price! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Stopped playing COD after MW2 and Black OPs, god I miss playing those games
