Porn In Ireland
 

My guy is sitting in an airport hotel in Dublin, and can't seem to access porn. When he tries to Google something, he gets "not found, retype your search."

Is online porn banned in Ireland? Or is the hotel filtering him? Do I need to set him up with a proxy?

I would guess the wifi. I know I've been in a few places that have blocked even gfy before. :pimp

I agree with Wizzie. (Yes, I said Wizzie.) Some WiFi connections will block porn related stuff. I've had GFY and some of my blogs blocked. Silly, but... what ever.

If it is banned then this webmaster event will be a flop...

In the UK you have to opt into seeing porn on a mobile.

But if its wifi, most probably block porn.

Also Google.com/ncr may work better for him too.

That's the thing, he was using Google. What kind of hotel is so cruel & heartless to not allow a man to obtain some comfort & relief when he's so far from home?

He is probably not using google usa but google ireland.

I sugest if he uses Google then he should find different results. It could be the local google does have porn removed (not that I would think it has).

Google lets you use google usa in any country (i think).

You see if your in the uk and goto google.com it takes you to google.co.uk

He just should have grabbed a copy of James Joyce's "Ulysses" ...

it's not necessary google or browser & most probably the wifi in the hotel. He could speak to the management of the hotel to confirm this. If so, they maybe able to give him a pass.

If there's an adult convention in Ireland soon, I'd recommend anyone going to call the hotels & confirm this before booking that hotel, maybe one can be recommended.

Here's how you do it on Android:
Open Settings --> Wireless & Networks -->Mobile Networks
Open Access Point Names
Create an Access Point Name and enter "3internet" (just that) as the APN.
Select that APN for use.
Fap the mickey clean off ya

Maybe it works with all networks.
