Exclusive: Trump surges in support, almost even with Clinton in national U.S. poll

for the libs that didn't believe the other poll Robbie posted a week ago

Donald Trump's support has surged and he is now running nearly even with Democrat Hillary Clinton among likely U.S. voters, a dramatic turnaround since he became the Republican party's presumptive presidential nominee, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday.

If you spent as much time posting about Sanders as you do about Trump, maybe his poll numbers would go up too.

right back at cha brainiac.

besides, i've yet to see you even really make a definitive choice on a candidate and vocalize that here, yet alone to the degree i have about my support for Sanders.

you're a waffler.

You have a short memory.. I've been supporting Sanders openly on this forum long before you jumped on board..

that has nothing to do with the fact you spend your time here lambasting trump, not trumpeting Sanders.

you only don't get the fact that i think it's important to take Trump seriously. too many liberals have hand-waved him off as a joke. for a year now. now he's tied with hillary in the general election.

It's obvious he loves Trump, but even more obvious he loves swinging from Robbie's nuts.

Obviously, if Sanders is my guy it makes sense to convince others that Trump is a nimrod. Meanwhile you claim Sanders is your guy but you spend day in and out defending Trump.

We are not even in the same category.. Oh and before you try to claim I defend Hillary.. I say it all the time that I won't vote for her and that she is a lying cunt.

You've been a pretty decent person towards me and not acted out like this for a couple weeks. I've done the same toward you. I'm disappointed in you that you couldn't maintain that.

Yes, both of them love to tell us they don't support Trump, but in every topic they are making excuses for Trump..

It's quite comical.

Only simpletons confuse my view of taking Trump seriously as support for Trump. Obviously, my view is too nuanced for you to comprehend. I don't hold that against you. Just like I don't hold it against bronco67. You're both doing the best you can to keep up!

According to cuckold Robbie he's been winning for about two weeks now :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

I can't wait until Hillary unleashes her attack on Donny. Allegations of rape from his former wife, fraud investigations, tax returns. This is going to be awesome 1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Not a lot to trumpet about Sanders, TBH. :2 cents:

To be fair, Sanders and Trump share a lot of positions on the economy. They both oppose TPP, favor public works projects, oppose Social Security cuts, want to raise the minimum wage and so on. Of course, they're vastly different on other issues, but the economy is all that most voters really care about anyway.

The real difference is that Sanders (like Hillary) wouldn't get anything past congress whereas Trump would, if only by publicly humiliating them.

Hell, he's probably already got some pretty funny nicknames ready for most of 'em.

If you think Trump coming up with a few funny nicknames for some Senators or Congressmen is going to get them to work with him you have no idea how the political system works.

Our current elected officials seem to take one thing into consideration when they make a decision and that is whether or not it will help or hurt their efforts to get re-elected.
