This Creepy Barber Told African-American Customer ?I Don?t Do Black Hair? Before Pulling a Gun

Denying someone a grooming service based on his race is terrible. Pulling a gun to make that point? Shameful.

Sadly, this is what happened to Arthur Hill of Fort Mill, S.C., WCNC reports.

Hill, who needed a shave before work, walked into a barbershop in Rock Hill, S.C., owned by Larry Thomas and said, ?I asked him does he shave. Can I have a shave??

?He said, ?I don?t do black hair,?? Hill told WCNC.

Hill was in a hurry and needed to clean up his facial hair, since he works around food.

He asked, ?Are you referring to African-American hair?? And Thomas reportedly said, ?Yeah.?

At that point, Hill noticed that Thomas already had his hand gripped on a .38 snub-nosed chrome revolver. Hill quickly left and went directly to the police.

?I was shocked. I was shocked for my life, because I?m thinking that could?ve been me laying on the floor dead,? he told WCNC. ?He did not point it at me, but it was clear in sight like he meant business.?

Thomas was arrested and no longer allowed to keep a gun in his shop while the case is pending. Why did he pull a gun in the first place? ?I felt threatened,? Thomas explained.

I agree that a .38 is weak. If anyone ever pulls a .38 on you just lunge at him because there is a good chance if you are hit that it will not stop you. You still might bleed out and die but before you do you have the opportunity to kill him.
