I always imagine it's like "Time slows, self narrative of so... this is how it ends... cheesy slow music... splash, chomp chomp chomp."

at 2 am, I hope the fall would knock me out, then a nice easy drowning...
|
not sure. tom hanks hit the water in a fedex plane from 30,000 feet, no problemo.
:2 cents: |
freaks me out, I may have a balcony room for the view and the extra light, but I will not be on the balcony. hehe

The tallest cruise ship in the world is 230 something feet or at least it was. I went on it last year its the allure of the seas. 1000 feet would be the empire state building...it would not pass under bridges lol

They never find these people because they are immediately sucked into the giant intakes of the cruise ship. I think the whole 'search and rescue' stunt is for the families and the media.
I jetskiid close to one once and it's scary as hell, the intakes are so strong it pulls you towards them. I've seen those seatow boats get too close and they end up getting attached to the back of the cruise ship like a magnet. No way a person could out swim that, even if they were conscious. |
Terrible situation, but at least it didn't end up like the titanic.
