Met Art
I noticed today Met Art has a new affiliate system.
Does anyone know if it's wise to start replacing CCBill links with new ones ? Is anyone using the newer system ? |
I had no idea.

I like it. It works, and is certainly faster than CCBill. We've not noticed any abnormalities with it tracking our links.
AK: perhaps you can just do a split test.. do a grep/xargs to replace affiliate links on one server or domain then you have something to compare it too between old and new links. This is their IN-HOUSE program, not the CCbill program. I find their tools section infinitely better as well. |

Is it safe to leave all my old CCBill links in place, or would you recommend updating them now ? |
Ok here's a honest opinion :)
The new interface is nice looking. The link codes and the promo tools section is cool and straightforward. The stats section needs work. You cannot check the individual transactions. I'd like to see the country of the join, the exact join time (including time zone), expected rebill time, number of rebills and the rebill dates. Those are present in CCBILL, but not in the new system. MetArtNetwork can't be promoted in the new MetArtMoney as far as I know. They upsell the network to the members, but you don't get a share of that. It'd be really nice to be able to promote it, it'd sell well I think. One more thing I hoped to get out of the non-CCBILL affiliate system is that the visitors can join using PayPal, Bitcoin, like for type-in visitors. That is not so - only credit card is available to visitors that click on affiliate links. |
