About time

This was pretty lame.... Don't get me wrong I am a huge Star Trek fan and I am so looking forward to this, but this "Preview" isn't really a preview at all.

i just hope they stay in the proper universe not this new bullshit one they did for the movies

The new movie coming out this summer looks terrible. Too much action, not nearly enough science fiction. Hopefully it won't suck, and hopefully the series will be smart. Fingers crossed.

This is all the new Star Trek you need. The second part of the TOS episode "Mirror Mirror," called "Fairest of Them All." A perfect and brilliant labor of love.

I'm excited beyond belief and will hold my opinions until after season 1 since it usually takes that long for character development and writers to get into their groove. Generally like all Star Trek attempts they focus on character development and introduction of new things before digging in and actually start writing good shows.
