David Hasselhoff is Broke - Less than 4K in the bank
 

David Hasselhoff has claimed that he his completely broke.

The legendary Baywatch star has argued that he's unable to support his ex-wife Pamela Bach because he's got barely anything left in his bank account.

According to the star, he's currently got less than four thousand dollars in his bank account.

This has become an issue for him, considering he is currently being forced to pay his ex-wife $252k a year in spousal support.

While he makes around $112k a month, he claims he spends over half of that and then his ex gets the rest.

According to TMZ, the star has a total of $1.79 million dollars in real estate, retirement savings and other assets.

200K a year is support is ridiculous. I might understand 50% of previous estate being attributes, but such ridiculous amounts from future earnings? Wtf?

This whole story is nuts, he is clearly paying too much to Pamela and he should consider cutting down on spending as well if there's any truth to the story.

If I were paying $200k+ per year for child support, I'd hide my money and pretend to be broke, too... :upsidedow

I have a friend that is a stay-at-home dad. His wife is the breadwinner, she does pretty decent. They constantly fight about whether or not he should get an allowance or spending privileges.

My brother had a similar experience, but in reverse. For a lot of years his wife was a stay at home mom. They were broke and needed her to work but she always had excuses for why she didn't. Eventually their kids got older and were in school all day so she finally got a part time job. That extra cash was going to help them out in a big way. When she got paid she didn't want to deposit the money into their joint account because "It was her money that she earned."

He says looking back that was one of the first signs they were headed for divorce.
