I'm close to wanting to move back. I lived there 5 years. For all of its negatives, standard of living is amazing there and TV isn't spammed with drug commercials or divisive crap.

TV here is crap. However we do have the ABC. Most people I know use iTunes, Netflix, Stan and sneak into HBO GO and Hulu.

There's really very few negatives living in Australia, one of the highest standards of living in the world - except house prices which are sky high and not coming down any time soon.

Um ok yeah I lived on Amalfi Drive on Isle Of Capri and I say you have great TV. My friends loved parking their boat on my dock for free. My kid and I would fish off the dock and deep the harvest of our crab pots.

My old place is a rental now, neighbors auctioned their place off for a little over $2M
