Any Arylia experts?
When I try to create a gallery from zip file I end up with following error:
Error 500! /arylia/index.php Internal Server Error! on /arylia/index.php?action=createGallery Any suggestion? php version 5.3.3-7 |
check your internal logs i.e. error logs for specific error.

MPGdevil: check your /arylia/tmp/ folder and see if there are any files inside of it. If so, delete those old files. Your tmp folder is used to unpack and process files and to create the thumbs when retrieving the gallery from an online URL. It's possible that the files are "owned" by the server (user nobody, apache, etc) and thus, it's also possible you'd need to remove those files via root, depending on how your server is configured.
Also, the folder where your unzipped gallery should be written, relative to your domain where arylia installed, for example: "/galleries/" ... make sure this is a writable folder. Finally, check to make sure the date settings on your server are correct. I've seen it happen on some people's installs where their server config date was wrong and it caused problems with Arylia. No idea why, but it was especially noticeable during batching. One last thought. Your host should be able to help you troubleshoot as well, provided it is a managed host. The log files as mentioned above can usually help pinpoint where the issue originates. Good luck. |
