Major Political Shift, The End Of The Libertarian Party

Sadly, this is one of the reasons people have issues voting for a third party.

Even with this crap I think the Libertarians may do decently this election. Some polls show them as potentially getting as much as 10% of the popular vote. Personally, I think that is likely way off, but it would be cool if they managed 5% of the vote.

The problem that the Libertarian party has always had is how many members are so militant about being ideologically "pure". Pure Liberatarianism requires every citizen to take total responsibility for themselves and we all know that in this day and age that will never happen and even be fought against by the majority of the electorate. This is why it's been so successfully painted as the party of crazy.

They need to be less ideological and more pragmatic, welfare is here to stay stop talking about killing it off and instead try to reform/reduce it. Same with social security, food stamps, overseas military bases etc. etc.

Oh and no more naked fat guys please :error

I bet Robbie is proud his favorite presidential candidate Gary Johnson openly pandering to the Koch bros for money. Can't wait to hear the excuses of how "dats different" from Republicans and Democrats pandering for money from big business/special interest.

The ironic thing is the Koch Bros orginaly ran the libertarian movement back in the 80s. That's when they first created the Tea Party as a way to try and reduce taxes for big tabacco.

They moved to the Republican party when they realized the libertarian party was useless for getting anything done.

That's James Weeks II. I know him on facebook.

This was a troll, he's actually an anarchist (anarcho-capitalist).

This was due to Gary Johnson being the nominated libertarian candidate (who thinks gov. should force bakers to bake cakes for x y and z), and whose running mate is a gun control advocate.

He did this to shit on the LP party, and I salute him. Epic.

Asking the Koch Brothers for funding is as ironic as the Chines charging the executed person's family for the bullet.

America needs a third party, but one with a chance of winning. The Catch 22 is getting the money to pay for the campaign. Only the very rich can do that so the 99% end up with a Government for the 1%
