72 Hour Film Competition
 

I belong to a local filmmaking group and they held their annual 3 day Mind 2 Movie competition. I've got a great group of friends and this is our entry. We took second place out of 15 teams and I won the best cinematography award.

Each group was give the same character, prop and line of dialog...then chose a genre at random. We got paranormal and this is the result. Written, shot, edited and scored in less than 3 days.

Thanks. We were working under the gun and will probably go back in, clean a few things up and match the colors better.

We ended up using a Sony A7Sii as B Cam to my Ursa instead of the BMPCC, and didn't really have the time to match the shots as well as we would have liked to.

i doubt you were even part of the crew that shot that.

That seems to be the nature with these 2-3 day film competitions. There's always got to be a laugh in there somehow, and it usually revolves around the required items. In this case, it was the line "Well that's never happened before". It drives me up the wall, but I didn't have to write it...so that's always a plus.

This is a new career for me. I'm starting a shoot on Monday where I'll be 2nd AC to the guy who shot these movies:
