My web hosting fucked up all of my sites and wouldn't fix it
 

I'm using Dream Host. Been using them for 15 years. They've decided to move my server from one place to another and ended up fucking everything up to the point where my sites are down. After 3 days of trying to get a hold of them they finally told me that they aren't fixing it and it's my problem!!!

Switch hosts asap... can you post all your correspondence?

...and, talk with way3.com about managed server. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive but... just go with them and thank me later. The owner Chris will also take all your sites and databases and make everything work, free of charge.

Can they move all of my shit from my current server to theirs?

Yes... email admin @ their site and say mark referred you. He will have you all set. His name is chris.

but they moved my server!!! How can I get all of my date from the old server, the new server hasn't kept any permissions, or mounts, etc.

Just looked at their site and it looks awful. I'm not sure if I want to trust them with anything. Also, their prices start at $300/mo. for a dedicated server and right now I pay like $150/mo.

I stopped using Dreamhost back in in 2008 when they over-billed pretty much every customer.

i've used choopa.com for over 10 years without issue. prices are decent.

Talk to mojohost and see if they can get you on a managed server.
