How long does it take autocorrect to learn on a new device?

I wish they'd port your autocorrect from your old device to the new one.

I got a new phone last week after having my previous one (Note 2) for 4 years, and the damn autocorrect is messing up my txts, posts & emails! I'll look at a word after inputing it and its correct but evidently after I hit the spacebar it autocorrects. Just typing this post I've had to CORRECT the autocorrect 12 times!

What's the average time for autocorrect to normalize?

Seems like recently it doesn't learn as fast as it used to.

Use a keyboard app like Swype (my personal favorite), it ties into your account and no matter what device it auto learns. I have 5+ years on mine and have used it across a variety of devices. :pimp

I second using Swype. It's the best imho and hasn't let me down too bad. It doesn't correct after you hit spacebar either. What's there is there.

depends on how fast you use the device.

I have had lots of fun with my stiity autocorrects, mainly with my old device using SWYPE which is now broken.
I have even posted a few on here,
