Is Hillary spanish?

I was just browsing twitter and landed on her twitter account. This desperate bitch writes her fucking tweets in spanish. WTF. I thought the job was President of the United States?

A shameless, very cheap tactic to get the hispanic vote. Pathetic.

mineistaken 06-06-2016 02:54 AM

Disgraceful turncoat, cheap tactics, as you say. Disgusting.
Not to mention that every US citizen should understand at least some English (they even have tests when they get citizenships) - that makes it even more disgusting. As I might understand if US citizens actually did not Understand English, but that is not a case (not talking about exceptions).

Horatio Caine 06-06-2016 09:14 AM

TRUMP is a definition of shameless.

Was because Puerto Rico's democratic primary election was yesterday and she won. They had their republican one awhile back. People living in Puerto Rico can't vote in the general election, but can in the primary. Basically it means nothing, but they hope to sway the large number of Puerto Ricans that have moved to the mainland that can vote.

Not shameless, just the most efficient way to communicate with most Puerto Ricans, who are United States citizens.

You are not understanding.

The majority of people in California are Hispanic and speak Spanish. She is speaking to the state of California in their native language. At the same time, we all know Trump will have a difficult time winning over the Hispanic people, and Hillary is most obviously working over time to ensure she has their vote.

Yes i understand. I know all of the above. The point is she does this to make it easier to the spanish speaking people. Yet spanish is not the official language of the US. Do you understand?

This is like a candidate here all of a sudden starts speaking arabic, because in some neighborhoods in the Netherlands it's the native language of the majority of the people there. Yet it is preposterous, because when you are an immigrant you have to learn the language in the country you live in, not the other way around.

And the puerto rico comment sounds like a great argument, but we all know she does it to get the vote of the hispanics in California.

I hate to break the bad news to you, but Spanish has been spoken in the United States as long as English has. In fact orginaly the re were more Spanish speaking areas than English..

Also there is no "official" language in the US. English is just the primary language but not the offical.

A YouGov report called “The Decline of the Manly Man” was making the rounds recently. It asked 1,000 American men where they would put themselves on a spectrum of completely masculine (zero) to completely feminine (six). The results found that Millennial men don’t see themselves as terribly masculine. Points for self-awareness, I guess.

Sixty-five percent of Americans approaching retirement age responded that they were “completely masculine.” Less than a third of Millennial men did. Thirteen percent of Millennial men identified halfway between masculine and feminine, and 12 percent said they’re slightly feminine. And I think this helps explain Donald Trump.

Trump voters are overwhelmingly male and older, and think the world has gotten too PC, too “gay”, and they’d like their country to be more “manly” again. That’s where Trump comes in. He’s going to kick everyone’s ass. He’s going to win. He doesn’t care about your feelings. He wants to dominate you. This appeals to a certain cross-section of America.

Economist Tyler Cowen recently put forth a similar suggestion. When trying to explain not only the rise of Trump, but why the Neo-Nazi Party almost won an election in Austria, Cowen postulated that, “The contemporary world is not very well built for a large chunk of males.” Lots of jobs are no longer “manly.” They’re service jobs. Students are coddled. The culture has been feminized. And “egalitarian semi-cosmopolitanism just don’t sit well with many…what shall I call them? Brutes?”

Cowen says, “Quite simply, there are many people who don’t like it when the world becomes nicer. They do less well with nice. And they respond by in turn behaving less nicely, if only in their voting behavior and perhaps their internet harassment as well.”

He admits that he doesn’t have evidence to back this theory up, and neither do I. But it feels right, doesn’t it? What we’re experiencing now, not just in America, but around the world, is the revenge of the cavemen.

Text has some truth. Image not so much. The 'Trump supporter' should be taller and have a higher forehead, because he sees through the bullshit of other candidates, therefore he is smarter.

The 'modern human' should be retitled as 'social justice warrior' and should be pictured as:

- wearing eye shutters
- have a socket in his head with a cable connected to mainstream media
- angry look because of his hatred toward anyone who does think, therefore thinks differently as him
- tears because him being offended all the time

No, you don't get it. The official language of the United States has nothing to do with it. The majority of the people in California are now Hispanic and speak Spanish. The issue shouldn't be "Why is she speaking Spanish to Americans?" but instead "Why is she speaking English in California?".

I live in Northern California, just north of Sacramento. I have no idea what percentage of people here are Hispanic, but there are some areas in town where no one speaks English. I see the writing on the wall. I've been living in Northern California for the past twenty-seven years and I see how the changes have happened. Now California is a Hispanic state. The Hispanic population is growing, and nothing is going to stop this. Eventually Spanish will become one of the national languages. Maybe not for twenty years, but eventually.
