Best service for sending email notifications to members on paysites?
I have a site and need to send our members notification emails like account created, daily specials, reminders to log into their accounts, message when they receive a message on the site, etc...
The content in some of these emails is 'adult', but there are no nude images. So I need a smtp company that is fine with this. Would be great if the smtp company also provided a panel to setup newsletters (something like getresponse or aweber) where I can setup the email series or users will receive over the next couple weeks after signing up. If you can help me out with this plz shoot me a skype: heiko.viceoffers Or post here! cheers! |
Have a look at Email Delivery Service & Transactional Email | SparkPost and either pair it with interspire email marketer or MailWizz EMA | The email marketing application

YNOT Mail.... Built for the adult industry!

Are they already warmed up and inboxing when setting up a new server with them? |

And you're right, you could set it up yourself and it would be cheaper. As far as I could tell, YNOT were just a middleman for smtp.com so would have very little (or nothing) to do with IP allocation and warm up. You could actually do what you're trying to do with: https://sendy.co/ Cheaper than interspire but works only with Amazon SES who charge $1 per 10K emails. If you're looking to use something like interspire, I would suggest using https://www.sparkpost.com/ as the alternative to smtp.com - not only are they cheaper, they are also very hands on with their reputation management. |

As long as you're sending legitimate emails to legitimate subscribers and maintaining your list you can use the SES service. This is the case with most providers. I've used smtp.com and Mandrill, I use SES and sparkpost. Have not had any issues. |

Sparkpost said the same thing and they're the people behind port25 and momentum: https://www.messagesystems.com/ |
This is a few years old but since I'm still using SES without issues:
