GOP candidate Donald Trump has already selected a ?Christian policy liaison? in Frank Amedia. Amedia most recently made headlines when claimed to have stopped a tsunami with prayer.

On Wednesday, the Friendly Atheist blog found video of Amedia at a church service speaking in tongues while praying for churchgoers, placing his hands on them and causing some of them to fall backward in a move often performed by fervent televangelist preachers.

Church goers can be seen in the physical throes of religious devotion as Amedia walks among the crowd and seeks out people to pray for. He can be seen touching them on their hands or faces, then some of them collapse back.

Amedia is pastor of Touch Heaven Ministries and has a faith show on Wednesday evenings. Of Trump, Amedia said this week that he believes the flamboyant celebrity businessman has been ?raised up? by God to pave the way for the Second Coming, according to Right Wing Watch.

?In this instance, it?s not because Donald Trump has heralded his faith or the name of God, but the Lord has put His favor upon him, and how amazing it is that the favor of God can overcome so many mistakes, so many bumbles, so many things that otherwise we would think would destroy somebody in business, destroy them in politics, destroy them in relationships,? he told Steve Strang. ?But yet it?s very evident it was the will of the Lord to do this and here we sit now.?
