My hypothesis: He's a closet case on drugs and his bf/lover (whatever) ditched him to goto Gay pride with friends (like a slut) and he got pissed, was gonna find him, bring him to the car and say WTF you want some of this? I didn't think so, get in the car bitch.

I think we will have to hear a bit more of the back story. The guy is from Indiana which is a long way from Cali to drive there in just a few hours. Maybe he was living in Cali? or maybe he had pre-planned it. Either way he got stopped ahead of time so unless they can drum up some serious charges on him, he will get out of jail after a short stint and be back on the streets.

Best bet to use the shooting for political purposes. Do not focus on the guy that sent out a tweet announcing his intentions.
