But if we get lucky, another thunder storms with tornadoes will hit this afternoon. One of the reasons I bought my house, was 10+ years ago a EF5 1/2 mile wide tornado destroyed the neighborhood. Hoping tornadoes don't strike twice. Still several houses in the neighborhood the foundations stand empty.

Haven't had a chance to dig out the pictures. One was a car in the basement garage, perfect except it's up side down

It's been 100 plus here in sunny Spain for the last week also! It's been so hot, we just stayed in under the shade & drinking plenty of fresh squeezed lemons from our tree & cold ice water :thumbsup

Actually I had a small shop in Leavenworth selling hologram pictures. My phone was 913-758-1000. The locals didn?t think I was in town as that was a new phone exchange and they couldn?t except change. They "knew" there was only one phone exchange.
But I kept getting calls for the prison.
Finally a couple of electricians, from the prison, came in my store and we got to talking. In those days, the US Govt has what was called the Federal Telephone System (FTS), a parallel phone system.To access, you had to dial a long set of numbers to access. Seems the prison was the same number on the FTS as me on the regular system.
Explains why the warden of USP Guam was sending me a prisoner. Guess he could sweep up around the shop.

Beer snobs would argue that cold beer is a fallacy for idiots, and that it 'should' be drank at 40F or you're doing it wrong. But in the kind of heat you're describing I say the fucking colder the better.
