Trump is broke

Trump is starting to sound like a TV preacher, who constantly is begging for money, for one emergency after another.

Trump campaign: We're facing an emergency goal of $100,000 - CNNPolitics.com

What??? This billionaire can't come up with $100,000?

I'm sure he expects more, but what happened to self funding?

He's busy building a Campaign funding base, Charlie!

There was a story the other day that talked about how the RNC may not be giving much money to Trump and instead will spend it on the Senate and House candidates in an effort to maintain their control there.

They estimate that Trump may only raise around $300 million while Hillary will raise about a $1 billion. At the moment Trump only has about $1.5 million in his campaigns bank while Hillary is already spending $30+ million on ads in the battleground states.

It went on to say how Trump was pissing off the people helping him raise money. They wanted him to make 20 calls to major donors and he got board and gave up on it after two calls.

Trump won't be spending his money on the campaign and there is a very good chance he will end up being outspent 3 to 1.

Barry-xlovecam 06-18-2016 07:44 PM

He's just calling in his own loans to his own campaign with interest.

Medusa Hitlary?? Trump is 2 years older than her. How do you build a base when you're sending out emails to people already in your base?
How about his promise to self fund?

More taxes?? I used to be an accountant. I managed to pay zero taxes last year, as all my income is tax free. Nor paid in any estimated payments, but still got a $700 refund from the state.

This is a clue many aren't picking up on. I mentioned this a few months ago: Trump didnt think he'd get the job and Trump doesn't want the job.

Who in need of millions wouldn't make 20 calls to get it?

Americans are clearly not interested in paying for Government and their leaders. So why shouldn't those who are willing get the leaders they want. To recoup all the investments?

It's not a matter of willing but able. There are limits as to how much an individual can give a candidate, however you can give unlimited amounts to PACs and to the parties itself. The average person doesn't have millions to give a political party.

Charlie Sheen: Donald Trump gave me fake diamond cufflinks as a wedding gift

Charlie Sheen got a wedding gift worth even less than a diploma from Trump University.

?I?m reminded of a time about five years ago, I was at a dinner with my ex-wife Brooke (Mueller) ? and about halfway through, I noticed Donald staring at my watch,? Sheen said in a ?Graham Norton Show? interview.

?He says ? ?I want to give you an early wedding gift as a gesture from me and Melania ? and she doesn?t say a word; she?s very sweet and very pretty but just kinda sits there,? he continued. ?Anywho, so he says, ?These are platinum diamond Harry Winston,? and he pulls off his cufflinks and he gives them to me.?

About six months later, Sheen said, he had a jewelry appraiser take a closer look.

?She took the loupe, spent about four seconds and kind of recoiled from it ? much like people do from Trump,? he said. ?She says, ?In their finest moment, this is cheap pewter and bad zirconias.? And they?re stamped ?Trump.?

?I just thought, what does this really say about the man that he said, ?Here?s a great wedding gift,? and it?s just a bag of dog s--t??

Donald Trump is doing this for the same reason he's done everything in his entire life: his own publicity and ego.

In his world there IS no 'bad publicity'. It's all just branding to him. Imagine how much more $ he will make after he loses. Or, if he wins, who cares if he sucks at being a President? It's all for his own amusement. His entire life has been this way so why change now?

Evolution? People living toxic lives wise up and change all the time. His existence is being mirrored back to him with more clarity than he's ever experienced. This is a great opportunity for the man to wake up, make amends, and live a less selfish life, honest life. Stranger things have happened :2 cents:

You also have to think, what does it say about Trump because he's the rich guy who was wearing fake diamonds and claiming they're Harry Winston. Just like everything else with him...a façade.

yes, we should take the word of a crazed, drug-addled dope fiend's word on it.

bronco67 06-19-2016 10:46 AM

Snipped from a great article I read:

Here we are faced with a paradox: Trump does not speak, act, or behave like a normal billionaire, nor even like a renegade or eccentric billionaire. He behaves like someone who is desperately broke.

I know that sounds odd. Improbable. Counterintuitive. And I don?t ? I can?t ? I won?t - say for certain whether he is broke. But I think it is a very distinct possibility.

I base this judgment on many years of working closely with very rich people. I?ve had the pleasure ? though that is not quite the right word ? of spending a lot of time around people who are extremely wealthy, and none of them behaves remotely like Trump.

For one thing, true billionaires hate seeing their name in the papers or being discussed in public. They don?t want people stealing their ideas, they don?t want scrutiny from regulators, they don?t want others to control the narrative about their business dealings, and frankly there is no financial advantage to being well known among ordinary people who don?t have money to invest.

The truly wealthy seek to be known in the right circles and not to the general public. It?s a fair bet that if the richest twenty hedge fund managers walked down the street, no one in the general public would turn their head; conversely, it is a also a fair bet that the twenty guys at the airport talking loudly into their cell phones about how they are returning to the head office after closing a big deal in Baltimore are actually worth next to nothing. Powerful people have secrets, barriers, walls. If Trump really had special ideas or assets, he would crave secrecy, not publicity.

Second, the truly wealthy do not brand themselves. Whatever you may think of how Bill Gates or Warren Buffett or Steven Cohen made their fortunes, they did not get into the bottled water industry to compete with ?Trump Ice,? nor do them sponsor beauty pageants or have television shows where they send out contestants to make ice cream cones and then berate them mercilessly for choosing $1.45 as a price point. There is a very revealing type of bullying taking place on Trump?s show The Apprentice.

JamesM83 06-19-2016 06:04 PM

he just wants people funding his campaign! though rich people should have some sense not to do so lmao:1orglaugh

Because that's how the law is written. So rewrite the law. Turkeys voting for Xmas.

So stop voting for the Turkeys. Never going to happen.

Ultimately it's the fault of the voters. While people keep voting for acceptable, to the politicians, candidates the system won't change.

Stop voting for politicians who support the status quo and terrify the status quo.

I agree. If all the people who say they don't like either candidate would vote for a third party, we would have a third party. Sadly, half the people can't even be bothered to vote so change is going to be very slow coming and what changes do happen likely will not benefit the people.

He's about to find out the trouble his mouth and ego has dropped him in. After he loses his name is shit. He's been exposed to more exposure than he can handle. And this is without big business spanking his ass to ensure no one else steps out of line.

Imagine a rebel with a chance of winning getting the Presidency. That scares the rulers.

So no, psycho, you fail to get the big picture:

America is the land of opportunity. Regardless of Trump.

You'll never ever figure that out.

Pointing out that getting back up as part of the American dream is playing the devil's advocate?
