How Brexit will affect Adult Business

As you know Brexit is out, how will it affect adult business in UK and Europe?

Drop your views on it.

Relic 06-25-2016 02:22 AM

It's fucking great.

Paul&John 06-25-2016 05:56 AM

Will stay the same

Tasty1 06-25-2016 06:33 AM

In the end will be better cause else the more conservative countries like England would try to force their strict conservative regulations trough the whole of Europe.

j3rkules 06-25-2016 06:50 AM

I think it will not change anything.

They will have to get a visa first to buy a membership overseas...

Unless the UK can negotiate a Taxation solution under Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty --
the Brexit will be possibly very costly. There goes Digital VAT on UK citizens' purchases abroad and VAT exemptions on business purchases between the UK and the EU. That is about a 20% value in limbo.

Censorship in the UK for adult content will only get worse IMHO.

I think the British people think they are now free, where they'll now have tighter laws, as tiny Britain takes a stand :2 cents:

Hannes 06-25-2016 09:33 AM

I don't think anything will be affected

redwhiteandblue 06-25-2016 09:43 AM

We will be banning everything. You won't even be allowed to say the word "cock".

You'll have to move from Spain?

AmeliaG 06-26-2016 12:00 AM

With the exchange rate where it is, nobody earning pounds will be able to afford any site priced in dollars, so it won't matter what the laws are.

NickBaer 06-26-2016 12:42 AM

The fall of the GBP on Friday makes my American dollars look much more able to afford Brit Hotel rates this Fall.

Cameron was a dark cloud on many social issues, but he will ascend to the House of Lords and will still be a dark cloud - no matter how more Liberal or Labor, the House of Commons moves.

I still think Parliament will thank the voters for the referendum, but file it in the can. I think more pressing will be Scotland leaving the UK, on a new vote. Northern Ireland as well. That leaves Wales and England, and the North of Wales isn't all that "English".

If there's any point of retaliation on the part of Europe, it might be in travel and taxes on Brits who have been living in the other European countries for long periods of time. The Brexit headlines have been about Europeans emigrating to the UK, but the other side of the immigration issue has been Brits moving to other European cities, and not declaring such.

That includes fellow Porn producers, in European - East Europe - countries where the models are eager to perform, and the currency exchange rates have been more favorable.

Paul Markham 06-26-2016 02:57 AM

You guys need to chill out.

Any changes will depend on what the UK Government does from here.

Will they play hardball with the EU and say that Trade has to be on a Balanced basis or will the EUI impose a 10$ tariff on EU goods being sold to the UK, so they can apply 10% on those coming from the UK.

Will the Government start to tighten up on who can claim benefits, get a job a Brit is ready to do, a house a Brit needs, this will result in Brits having more money to spend. Which is why they voted out.

Forget about regulations. An EU country is allowed to make its own laws regarding porn and no country has been able to regulate the Internet.

The only difference it will make is we are adding one huge market that we will no longer have to collect VAT for...

No, we'll be applying for residency. My sister's been resident in Gran Canaria for a few years & has never looked back :thumbsup

Maybe now, if the UK does stick to leaving the EU, many more laws can be relaxed for the rest of the EU :2 cents:

How long do you have to stay before you're able to apply for residency Gary?

Applying and getting are two things. I applied foer residancy here very soon after arriving. My bank account was all that mattered.

Which is the way it should be. Unless one is a teacher, nurse or doctor type.

It was the EU that legalised porn in the UK.

Until the year 2000 it was not legal (except soft porn).
