Personally, it's a tie between Raising Arizona and Face/Off.

Come on. Any serious Nick Cage fan knows that his best performance and movie ever was Leaving Las Vegas.

If you weren't so "serious" you'd know that Con Air kicks ass on Leaving Las Vegas.

con air and the rock are my next 2 fav nick cage movies.

the first biker on fire one was pretty good too, can't recall the name though.

and the one about the Constitution was good too!!

atom 06-30-2016 02:16 PM

Raising Arizona. Cohen brothers are brilliant.

timlover 06-30-2016 02:20 PM

Comparing Con Air to Leaving Las Vegas is like comparing Scooby Doo Haunted Halloween House TV Special to Toy Story....

He was phenomenal in 'The Shawshank Redemption' and 'Forest Gump'.

But my fav Nick Cage movie is 'Citizen Kane'

Joshua G 06-30-2016 07:06 PM

you know, when raising arizona came out, i thought to myself how someone so doofy looking could never have much of a career in hollywood. but holy shit, to think back on all his work...

lord of war. was like looking into the heart of hilary.

:2 cents:

jscott 06-30-2016 08:50 PM

From "Pay the Ghost" to "Trespass" to "Bangkok Dangerous" he has proven to be a terrible actor. Which means usually is a genuinely nice person lol. His best roles maybe are "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" (Since played such a tiny role) and in "Kick-ass" he dies out, which is good.

First i ever noticed him was in "Raising Arizona" btw

My favorite movie of his was Bringing Out the Dead.

His best acting was in Birdy.

DraX 07-01-2016 09:54 PM

No one mentioned MM8, was also a cool flick.

But I'm all up for gone in 60 sec, conair, faceoff (was too silly at some points) the rock etc.

I don't believe I have ever seen leaving las vegas, need to look that up.
