Project 538 has Clinton beating Trump by a wide margin

This forecast has been very accurate for the past two presidential elections. I think they got 48 states right in 2008 and 50 in 2012.

Chances of Winning Presidency

Clinton 79.2 %
Trump 20.7 %

20% chance while some GFY libbies were acting as if it was 0 or 1% at best :1orglaugh

Do you understand what 20 percent means? Put in the bag 4 blue balls and 1 ball and pick one blindly. It would not come as a huge surprise if you picked red one, would it? While some anti trumpsters are talking as if it is a sure deal :1orglaugh

This election is unlike any before. Many of the predictions have been wrong. The algorithm has changed.

I think that was true during the primaries, but now that we are down to two candidates is back to being a much more normal election. The two big questions are whether or not Trump and rally the conservatives behind him and whether or not he can appeal to independent women and minority voters.

And how jigged the electronic voting machines will be, the chads dropping, 5,000 voters in a 500 person town...etc. :2 cents:

Those issues have been around pretty heavily in the last few elections. We didn't hear much about it in the last two because Obama won big, but in the two before there was a lot of that. If the election is close, I expect these things will come back out.

You can argue every election is unlike any other election before. In 2008 a little known Senator beat out McCain, a war hero who has held various political offices all the back to 1983.

I disagree that most of the predictions have been wrong. Seems to me this is exactly where the predictions told us we would be - With Trump making a complete ass out of himself while his party refuses to get fully behind him.

This election hasn't even started yet, and Trump is losing badly. This will be an uphill battle the entire time.

And with Trump pointing at airplanes in the sky and saying "That could be a Mexican plane up there ? they're getting ready to attack".

I am not joking. He actually said this during a speech today.

interesting that you are watching a live trump speech. but still you dont read clinton cash. see, hilary turned the state dept into a hooker parlor for crooks, & hilary was the john. for cash, she would protect a fugitive from his own country. or shift some unranium deals to some friends, who donated to the cause of hilary.

its a long list of people. in fact, today the justice dept says it needs another 27 months to investigate all the allegations into the clinton foundation, just for 1 client!

wow. thats a lot of waiting for more nothing, right rochard?

Trump's plane joke: It's Mexico 'getting ready to attack'; - POLITICO

Mexican paratroopers > LMAO Trump actually said that.

free-trade deals like NAFTA and trade normalization with China, Trump remarked, "It’s not very hard to explain. It’s not very hard to understand. What is difficult is to figure out why people did this—why. You know, we have expansion plans in this country, we have all sorts of plans, but there’s no expansion. We have job losses and other countries have massive expansion”

The factory closed in 2014 and, according to the New Hampshire Union-Leader, is set to be redeveloped into a $60 million shopping center. “So you’re looking here at a plant and the wreckage of NAFTA and the wreckage of China’s entrance into the World Trade Organizaton," Trump said.

Talkin' out of his ass as usual -- they are building a new ''$60 million shopping center'' with new jobs for it's construction -- Trump is a damn property developer :upsidedow

So the light bulb factory is 50 years old and closed? But the plant still glows in the dark!

Radioactive material to stay put as factory becomes retail center By MARK HAYWARD
New Hampshire Union Leader, 21 Feb 16, MANCHESTER — Before developers go ahead with the conversion of the former Osram Sylvania light-bulb factory into a $60 million shopping center, they have to address one little problem — a buried vault of radioactive material on the property.

Earlier this month, developer Dick Anagnost disclosed the only containment of its kind in New Hampshire of radioactive contaminated soil.

Reportedly safe, it will be located beneath a portion of the parking lot of the would-be shopping center. But for financing purposes, Anagnost and his partner, Brady-Sullivan Properties, need to carve off a half-acre lot that contains the vault. He has asked the Manchester Planning Board to approve the subdivision.

The concrete vault contains thorium, a radioactive element used at the plant from the mid-1960s to mid-1980s, according to state health officials.

When decommissioning the plant, Sylvania discovered that thorium had contaminated some soil. The contaminated material was encapsulated following guidelines set by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Anagnost told the New Hampshire Union Leader……
the Sylvania factory was licensed by the then-Atomic Energy Commission in 1965 to use thorium-dioxide to coat electrodes in high-intensity light bulbs. The process was discontinued in February 1986……. – See more at:Radioactive material to stay put as factory becomes retail center | New Hampshire

I'm willing to place a bet that this forecast will be accurate within 4 states, hit or miss.

Any takers?
