Why are we not using Voucher Codes for porn sites and phone apps?

Traditionally we have used url's with tracking code. But these both look ugly and do not work for such as phone apps.

Voucher Codes are far better as you can use them for phone apps.

An example is you can post on your blog, download xyz app as its great, and use voucher code 'mysitecode' to get 20% off. And if people use this code you get an affiliate payment.

It may also increase sign ups.

An example is you could send people to a web cam site with your code such as camsite.com/ftyfytfytft while you may send 100 people. 1 may sign up. But it could be that if you say go to camsite.com and use promo code 'mysitecode' you will get 20 free credits, it means that people will sign up to get free credits. I would expext a much higher ratio using this method.

It also means you can use off line promotion. Imagine rather than promoting online, you promote a website or phone app by putting up posters in your area. On the poster it would have your code 'mysitecode'. So I may be driving and see your poster, download the app and enter your code. And you get a % of affiliate money.

Just to make it clear, I mean for affiliates. So when you sign up to promote a website (or whatever) you are also provided with voucher codes as well as tracking codes as part of the affiliate tools.
