No FBI charges against Hillary Clinton

As has been said for months. Way to waste everyone's time, money & energy yet again on false accusations GOP.

_Richard_ 07-05-2016 09:00 AM

false accusations? didn't he say they found her declassifying documents, but had 'no intent to break the law'?

ilnjscb 07-05-2016 09:19 AM

Note to all politicians: Don't have private email about stuff concerning your official duties. If it even mentions anything having anything to do with your elected functions, use the public email. When in doubt, use the public email. No donors or staff or anything connected to your public office should use anything but public email!

I know you're politicians, and that is four sentences long, but have your chief of staff explain it to you.

CDSmith 07-05-2016 09:21 AM

She was guilty until proved innocent.

Now she's guilty due to obvious cover up.

It shows how antiquated the state department is system wide they need a complete overhaul.

It was interesting watching Comey try to spin. He said that some others on the state.gov system she emailed had been hacked, but they couldn't find evidence of her being hacked "but it's possible she was".

Clean as a whistle!

arock10 07-05-2016 09:52 AM

Now let's quickly move on from this since it has been decided, just like Benghazi

beerptrol 07-05-2016 10:05 AM

I'm sure there will be another republican Benghazi investigation. They have to make sure to waste more money doing nothing

Relic 07-05-2016 10:09 AM

Pathetic

poncabare 07-05-2016 10:13 AM

no surprise here

Bladewire 07-05-2016 10:28 AM

I was surprised at how much personal opinion Comey included in that press release. Guilty of nothing, but...

I.E. Comey says the email server wasn't physically protected. The secret service protects the Clinton's Chappaqua house where the server was located, it was physically protected. Secret service agents live on location there.

Exactly. Lots of speculation and opinion by FBI director James Comey, who just so happens to be a Republican. His job is to determine if a crime has been committed or not, not throw to the public what he thinks might be the case.

Jigster715 07-05-2016 10:36 AM

Clinton's tarmac meeting in Arizona was a success. Guess he can still lick the puddy pretty good.

Right. Bush appointed Republican Comey. Comey could have said she did nothing different than other innocent people in her position. Instead he totally slanted "she's innocent" with a bunch of personal rhetoric which reinforces the view that he dragged on this probe as long as possible, leaking details at the worst possible times for her during the primary. Hope she fires him.

He didn't say she wasn't guilty, that is why he laid out the things she did wrong. Just said it was very unlikely she did enough that a prosecutor would bring forward charges.

She is innocent or she would have been charged, he was very clear. He spent 15 minutes explaining it lol

What really happened is he was given the opportunity to bash the State department in exchange for not suggesting charges.

Innocent and not charged are two very different things. She did many things wrong or else he would have said they found no evidence of any wrong doing at all.

That's correct.

Take politics out of it. "Peggy Sue" works at a gas station, and one day a man comes in and pays for his gas with two crisp twenty dollar bills. Peggy Sue looks at the bills, they seem okay, she puts them in the cash register without a second thought. Peggy Sue has her fingerprints on the bills, which turn out to be counterfeit. Peggy Sue has just broken the law and can be charged with counterfeiting. Charges will never be filed against Peggy Sue. She broke the law but... Did she print the counterfeit bills? No. Did she transport the counterfeit bills with the intent to defraud anyone? No. Did she intend to break the law? No. She was doing her job, plain and simple.

It's no different here. If Clinton was passing such secrets to a reporter or agent of a foreign government, then she is guilty as sin. Again, they are looking at two things - intention and damage. Her only intention was do her job, and there was no damage.

I disagree with you there. The Secret Service was physically protecting her house, but you can make a case her server was not properly protected.

At the same time, there is no indication it was hacked.

I'm not buying that a server housed where secret service agents live, and that they protect 24/7 , is not physically secure. That was Comey's slant to throw shade on Hillary.

The Republican Party has just shot itself in the foot. Between Benghazi and the email servers, they have created the most vetted candidate in the history of politics.

In the same stroke they are sending up a politically inexperienced bully to face off with her.

This is why I'm not voting Republican again until they get their shit together again.

Trump was the final straw and partisan investigations ( in the dozens ) shows putrid desperation and lack of focused discipline party wide.

Seems an unsanctioned prejudicial press release by the Republican head of the FBI littered with negative personal rhetoric against a Democratic candidate running for POTUS is an ethical violation of biblical proportions.

He is going to drill the "corruption" angle even further. It's only going to help him and next major polls will reflect it. Not the current polls at 4 points down, the polls in about a week that will show him ahead.

Watching Obama stump for Hillary right now, live, with her on stage. Epic

"There is no man or woman in history more qualified for this job than Hillary Clinton"

The crowd roars shaking the camera with the sound of their applause, and Hillary starts tearing up. Vindicated

No, this was what he wanted. The worst for him, would be Clinton getting indited and Sanders becoming the nominee. He would be harder to run against. Now Trump will just get to keep railing on corruption and bad judgement etc etc.

Sanders might have shat himself though as that was his last hope to get the nomination.

I disagree.

The Republican party has been planning this for some time, long before Trump was involved. Their entire goal was to take out Clinton with a massive years long smear campaign. They tried to place blame for Benghazi at the feet of Clinton, and then this email thing. The Republican party, and of course Trump, is trying to paint Clinton as being "crooked". They can try to paint this picture all they want but it is not working for the people the Republican party needs to sway the most - The Republican party cannot call someone who has never been charged with a crime as being "crooked" when their candidate is going to trial in one of four fraud cases (not to mention dozens if not hundreds of other cases).

I asked this before on GFY, got mocked for it, but yet no one came up with a decent answer - Name one bad thing Clinton has done? Name a bill, a policy she was behind that was fucked up, or something she screwed up at the State Department? You can't.

At the same time, can you name any accomplishments Clinton has had?

The Republican party is trying to slander Clinton by calling her crooked, which obviously doesn't fly when the other candidate is going to trial in a fraud case in November. What they need to be doing is attacking her on her lack of accomplishments. We can't name anything she's fucked up because frankly she hasn't really fucked anything up, but at the same time we cannot name any of her accomplishments because she hasn't really had any.

LOL at the idea that Trump is scared of Sanders. He's scared of the person who is currently beating him by 6% WHILE under FBI investigation. Now that it has ended, I say she gets a 4% pop.

He had better throw one hell of a convention - I still think he'll be hard to beat but he is running out of time.

How did peggy sue break the law again? I've never heard of anyone accepting counterfeit money as a payment being charged with anything. Now if Peggy Sue's boss told her to replace the real hundreds with counterfeit ones for deposit your scenario fits a bit better. It is admitted Clinton instructed her staffers to declassify classified emails by removing those designations before sending. She then knowingly discussed these classified topics with others.

Evidently the first day of the GOP convention this Trump RICO court hearing thing is happening:

Judge sets Trump RICO hearing for first day of GOP convention

Besides people as stupid as the OP, everybody else knows this was a fix.
You can't have classified docs on your home pc or server.

You can also expect Hillary to be charged next year when Trump wins the White House.
And not as political payback but for justice.

Watch and see.
