Emoji Question (Non poo related)
 

When I'm on my imac (OSX 10.6.8) using chrome browser I miss a lot of the emojis that are displayed on GFY and facebook etc I just see little empty squares.

If I use my (Fairly Old) phone though, I see the modern emojis...

Is there some sort of download I can do so they display correctly? Or do they just 'not work' on a desktop?

I am not sure if a patch will upgrade it or not.

Depends on the age of your hardware and the alignment of your current OS.

Some of the older Macs cannot show emojis, they can only show emoticons and smileys. The oldest Macs out there can only show smileys and cannot manage the processing required for either emoticons or emojis.

Best bet, according to everything I have read, is to get a PC.

little empty squares mean images does not load , do u have any kind of debugger to see what going on?

maybe images are blocked from https://gfy.com/images/smilies ??? by plugin and settings..or your browser does not like tiny gifs.:upsidedow
