Making Sony A7R II appear like an iPhone camera
I need to make a iphone style shot using the Sony A7R II. Any tips on setting it up? I will be getting the higher res 4k from the A7 but can always edit it down to 1080P. I am more concerned with focus'ing etc. My research says to set the lens to 35MM zoom.

sell Sony A7R II and get iphone.
sriously , get detail;s of iphone camera sw settings., you can do this by , taking pictures or recording videos , then load them in PC/mac and see for exif data or additional data in video/. and yopu will get more picture there. e.g. 193.0mm · ƒ/5.6 · 1/25s · ISO 200 also check iphone caemra hw specs. now please click the thanks button., |
Like wise, I have no phone atm & only use my lumix. I notice if you do a distance shot, more focus on the whole area & then cut the image closer, you would have a muffled look, more like a camera phone image.

the iphone is 4k (i have one) the simple thing is just to say its been shot on a phone (99.99% will not know or care). |

The best way to make it look like an iPhone is to buy the cheapest lense as you can, as that way the content will not be pin sharp.
The main difference it that the camera your using has (I presume) a bigger chip and a huge lens. While the iPhone may be good, it still has to deal with a tiny lens and a tiny chip. Also you may need to crop the footage as your camera may shoot film in a slightly different shape to an iPhone (if you get my meaning). But to be honest, I have seen iPhone footage (using fancy stands and stabilizers) that look so pro you would not believe its done on an iPhone. |
