I know you don't really think that way. I learned when I was young to say yes sir and no sir to a cop. Just think of them like a drill sergeant. Don't ever say you wasn't speeding or they'll add a ton of extra shit on your ticket. Less words spoken the better. Just give him your license and registration and keep your mouth shut.

I agree that the cop used excessive force BUT it could have been avoided. I believe more in avoiding conflict than provoking it. NWA was big when I was in junior high. I've made my mistakes as well.

There's something you need to remember, and some cops need to realize this also....

They are OUR servants. Not the other way around. You shouldn't disrespect them just as you wouldn't disrespect anyone else trying to do their job, but there's no need to walk on eggshells in their presence -- or at least there shouldn't be. They don't have the right to take things personally or get angry with a citizen, and they definitely don't have the right to get physical because they feel they may have been disrespected.

I'll reiterate....COPS are servants of the public. They represent authority, but they sure as fuck are not the boss of the citizens of the US.

The cop in that second video is speaking just like a racist apple which has fallen from a racist tree. I lived in Austrailia for 5 years and spent a lot of time in other countries (weeks/months)

The police in Oz are non dominant pro citizen. You don't have speed traps every few miles where a cop is there to play the "gotcha" scheme to make money for the city, etc.

Coming back to the U.S. after all those years you see how others live and what's REALLY wrong with where things are going in our country. Police brutally and dominance over its citizens is one huge thing that if we don't turn things back now we'll be in an even worse position with pacified masses 10-20 years from now :2 cents:

You can see for the most part that I've been very silent since my stay here. I usually avoid debating. I haven't had many confrontations or ill words against anyone. Although I am sure I have said stupid things more than once on here.

2 former local (white) cops are cousins.
One harassed a new black cop into quitting. He became a security guard at a restaurant in the adjoining town, same county. Cop & wife came in to eat. Started an argument with the black guy. Went to his car, got his pistol and shot the black guy. Before he died the black guy did manage to hit him a few times with his night stick. The cop was sent to the hospital, where cops & state troopers told him what to say.
Cop beat the murder charge, but was fired.

His cousin was on an episode of C.O.P.S. 2 white trash guys were running from police across the state line. (Runs right through the center of the city). Missouri cops figured they would stop sooner or later on the freeway, they were running on 3 tires and a rim. Once into Kansas, the KS cops boxed the car in for a forced stop, while getting their cars damaged. The cousin, must have dragged the driver out of the car window. You don?t know, as C.O.P.S. edited that part. Next you see the driver stating in handcuffs with a bloody white t-shirt and face. That cop was also fired.

Black or white, it doesn?t matter here. You?ll get beat, just black guys get beat worse.

I did. My anger was with the race baiting media not with another race though. Everyday it was another headline about black/white. Just as it is now. I may be bias. I am not perfect.

That cop doesn't deserve respect. He was acting like a thug from the start. There was no reason to handcuff her or use the force he did. Putting a person like him in a uniform is disrespect to the uniform and its place in society.

It's just that many of these videos show situations where a cop goes straight to the physical solution because he's unequipped mentally or emotionally to deal with the problem in a manner that shows some respect for the citizen -- the one whose taxes pay his salary.

This cop needs sacking before he does shoot someone. He's clearly not fit to carry a gun, as a policeman or private citizen.

Why did the cop escalate the situation to a point where he was able to get violent?

Of course, if you want to live in a police state, I can see your point of view. You must not believe in the home of the free, land of the brave. Just as a place where everyone does as a policeman tells them, even if the command is unreasonable.

Black people think there should be separate set of rules for them. Like in this case, she tried to run away from police, parked her car at Dollar Store and sprinted inside. Cop got her and politely told her to get back in her car. What does she do? "You ain't have right 'cause I was parked". WTF?
